Submissions

  • Call for Submissions:

    The Unacknowledged Source offers an opportunity for graduate students, in any discipline, to get their work published.

    The Source accepts submissions on an ongoing basis. Graduate students are welcome to submit their writing, photography/photo essays, visual art, reviews (of your favorite website, work of art, book, etc.), experimental fiction, poetry, comics, interviews, printed dialogues, news of interest, and commentaries.

    Submission Guidelines:

    The goal of The Unacknowledged Source is to showcase and publish engaging research and creative work produced by the UVic. graduate student community.

    Submissions should be sophisticated and novel enough to push some boundaries and step on some toes, yet remain interesting and relevant to non-specialists.

    Academics at any level, in any discipline, are entrusted with the responsibility—and the privilege—of contributing to public and cross disciplinary dialogue. Submit to The Source and help get people talking.
